DAILY LOG | DAY 4 | 12.9.18

We return again to the world of the internet for me to tell you all that I am really happy to be blogging again. I’ve slowly been amassing art, writings, and the like to be able to post here, and I’m hoping that you all will be joining me on this grand adventure!

Today’s been a rather lazy day, and as such I’ve used a lot of my time to relax, paint one of my characters, and work on my battle ship Christmas present for my mom (see this post). I’ve also spent a good chunk of the day creating headers for these posts! Mainly to give you guys a better idea of what will be in each of the posts under the cut. Speaking of which, here’s one now!

As you’ve probably guessed, I’m very scatter-brained. My thoughts will go from one thing to another very quickly. Which is why I have so many different pet projects going on~. From the Oddball Campaign to writing stories and creating art. It all depends on how I’m feeling at the time that I’m writing these to determine what I’ll be writing about.

I bet you’re asking, “But Mel! What was the character that you’ve been painting today? I really want to see!” And to that I say, Here it is!

Watercolor and ink, I’ve drawn my current Dungeons and Dragons character Myve! That is… if she ever wore something as floofy as this…

Now you’re probably wondering, “Are you going to do a post on her?” and to that I say, eventually. She is still a relatively new character, and as such there’s still a lot about her that I don’t know, and until I’ve played her for quite a while, there will not be enough for me to write about her as of yet. However ~ I will probably use her in a short story that I will post on here, whenever I get around to writing it.

For now here’s a little background information on who Myve is, just in case you guys were impatient for more:

Full name: Myve Orph
Race: Half-orc / Half-tiefling
Age: 18 years old
Height: 6′ 5″
Weight: 250 lbs
Occupation: Master Mechanic (hence the giant monkey wrench) on the Tabaxi

That’s pretty much it for me today! Be sure to follow me on social media to get more updates on my art and other stuff! Until then ~
